About the Foundation:

Thank you for your interest in the Community Foundation of Johnson County! We are a fairly new organization dedicated to building an endowment that will give back to our community for perpetuity. Our primary activities include building our resources (learn more under Giving), managing those resources (learn more under Investing), and giving back through grants to local nonprofit organizations (learn more under Grantmaking).

An active board [listed below] directs Foundation activities and policies, and the Executive Director, Michael Stoffregen, manages day-to-day operations. Our office is located within the Iowa City Area Chamber of Commerce at the corner of Washington and Gilbert in downtown Iowa City. The Community Foundation of Johnson County serves communities throughout Johnson County, including Iowa City, Solon, Coralville, Hills, North Liberty, and rural Johnson County. In turn, the Foundation draws its support from local residents and more far-flung individuals, families, and corporations who want to give back to the local community.

Public Availability of Most Recent Audit: Each year the Community Foundation of Johnson County undergoes an audit of financial documents and operating procedures. The most recent audit is on file at our office location and can be viewed during office hours.
