The Community Foundation of Johnson County is an effective grant-making organizations because it is willing and able to meet changing community needs and adapt to a changing external environment. Both community needs and the nonprofit organizations that respond to those needs change over time; in the course of a generation, new organizations are founded, established organizations change course, and some organizations either fold or become part of another organization. The funds that support grants within the Community Foundation can be adapted to these changing circumstances.
If you have questions about how Community Foundation grants adapt to a changing community, please contact the Executive Director by e-mail [Mike Stoffregren] or at the Foundation’s office.
