Investing for Our Future:

The Community Foundation of Johnson County has a long-term goal of securing resources to address the changing needs of the community it serves. The Community Foundation is a unique vehicle for giving back to our community. Most nonprofit organizations operate annually on funds raised that year; every dollar spent on programs must be raised through ticket or product sales, fees for services, or annual fundraising drives. Larger organizations, however, often build an effective investment program, or endowment, the interest from which can relieve the burden of annual fundraising or provide seed money for new programs. The Community Foundation is a vehicle for small and large organizations to build a long-term endowment. If you have questions about how the Community Foundation of Johnson County can help you support the local community over the long-term, please contact the Executive Director by e-mail [Mike Stoffregen] or at the Foundation’s office.
