2016 - 2017 Grants

The Community Foundation of Johnson County (CFJC) awarded more than $252,000 to 72 area nonprofit organizations. The presentations were made at the Community Foundation's Grant Award Luncheon held Oct. 19, 2016, at the Coralville Radisson Hotel and Conference Center.

RSM sponsored the Grant Award Luncheon.

Sarah Maiers, CFJC president, said the Foundation received 101 grant requests for more than $826,000 to fund programs and projects. "We are grateful to our many contributors and volunteers for their financial support and gifts of time that champion these very deserving organizations. The Johnson County community is growing with their assistance."

Executive Director Mike Stoffregen announced the organization recently renamed its grant endowment fund "Growing Better Together" and encouraged others to give to the fund to grow the number and amount of grants awarded. "Together we are giving for good."
