The Community Foundation of Johnson County (CFJC) will accept grant applications beginning June 1. Grants may be submitted for programming or capital projects. Grant seekers will have six weeks to complete an application for funding. The deadline to submit a grant application has changed to Monday, July 15 at 5 p.m.
Nonprofit, 501.c.3 organizations can apply for grants by visiting the Community Foundation's website at www.communityfoundationofjohnsoncounty.org and click on "Grants from the Endowment." Grant guidelines and examples are listed online to assist applicants with their grant requests.
Applicants will be assigned a password when they start the process, which allows applicants to complete the application process in multiple phases if they are interrupted. Applicants are also required to attach a budget and financial information with the application.
This is the fifth year applications can be completed and submitted on-line. For information about the Community Foundation grant application, contact Mike Stoffregen, executive director, at 319.337.0483.
