CFJC Board members and staff support Go Red for Women

Nov 20, 2015

The Community Foundation of Johnson County is supportive of many local community nonprofits in the area. Several CFJC Board members attended the Iowa City Go Red Luncheon held on Nov. 12, 2015, to show their support. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women, causing 1 in 3 deaths each year. That's approximately one woman every minute!

CFJC knows that understanding community needs and what nonprofits see as their challenges and success, brings a personal perspective to our board members.

As you continue to review your own personal philanthropy of support to our community, please consider the many nonprofits that have Endowment Funds with the CFJC. We make it easy to give back to the community and to organizations you care about.
