Ways to Give
Give to a specific endowment fund
- The Community Foundation of Johnson County manages more than 180 funds that support many causes throughout Johnson County. In addition to a cash donation, we accept gifts of stocks, bonds, life insurance and property. The transfer is easy.
Establish a fund to support causes you care about
- Perhaps you have one or two or several causes that and want to financially support. Establishing a Donor Advised Endowment Fund with as little as $5,000 you can begin to support your causes and make certain the giving will continue long past your lifetime.
Give through a Johnson County Community Affiliate Fund
- The Community Foundation of Johnson County serves all of Johnson County, however we understand that cities and donors have unique philanthropic goals and objectives. Seven Johnson County cities have established Community Affiliate Funds. Your contribution can be directed to a specific city and impact any organization in that community.
When you start or continue to grow any current endowment through the Community Foundation of Johnson County, you will receive the maximum federal and state tax benefits available including a 25 percent Endow Iowa Tax Credit, as well as the peack of mind that comes from working with a reputable organization that has a deep knowledge of the community it serves.
