CFJC grant application opens July 1

The Community Foundation of Johnson County (CFJC) will accept grant applications beginning July 1. Nonprofit organizations can apply for grants by visiting CFJC’s website at www.communityfoundationofjohnsoncounty.org/grants. The deadline to apply for funding is July 23 at 11:59 p.m.

CFJC is using a new online software. Applicants will be assigned a password when they start the process, which allows them to complete the process in phases should they be interrupted. Applicants must attach a budget and financial information with the application. The CFJC website offers online tutorials for applicants.

Our application-based grant program is intended to meet the diverse needs of the Johnson County community in the following areas:

Community Fund affiliates in the communities of Coralville, Lone Tree, North Liberty, Swisher, Tiffin and University Heights will have opportunities to review and determine grant applications from nonprofit organizations serving their locations.

Nonprofit organizations that received a grant from the foundation last year are reminded they must file a report before June 30, 2018, to be considered for another grant. Grant Report Forms are available at http://www.communityfoundationofjohnsoncounty.org/…/apply-…/ and click on “Grant Report.”
